Yes that is me to a T right now.
As it is for all mums with newborns.
My little Ted is spending a lot more time awake nowadays and she is quite alert. She would sleep most times in my arms if I could afford to spare them, but of course there is always so much to ‘be done’. Right now she is in my right arm whilst I type with my left.
Finding somewhere dark around here for her to sleep at is really hard, as we don’t really have anyplace that has curtains to make the room dark enough. But I am getting by. I took her to do the weekly shop today and she was a little gem and slept through most of it and didn’t cry or fuss. I have to try n get some photo’s in of her this week, but I have heaps to do and 2 appointments at the Hospital (sigh) this week. And I should prob get myself off to a doctor to collect that pill
I don’t have much else to report on….Summer is growing well and doing well and making more and more little cooing noises everyday. I love her to little bits n pieces. And want to squish her all day…but alas I am soo tired…

Being Mum.
I have to say, that as each day passes by, I am enjoying more and more, looking after our baby. Even with getting up through the early hours of the night and staying up late for the late night feeds, I still am coming to enjoy it more and more. Summer is full of funny things. I love that she is already making us laugh our heads off at any given moment, day or night.
When she crys, she pouts her bottom lip at the end, like she is sulking. When she burps, I find it really really funny. When she is doing a #2, her nostrils go really really white. When she sleeps she makes all sorts of funny noises. Yesterday, she lay asleep in my arms and I went to the laundry to get her a new onesie to wear and when I was coming back up the hallway, she did this long coo. It was soo cute!!!
I love her to bits. I love Rick to bits. I am very happy ![]()

Grrr…..mean mummy
Yeah, some may consider me a mean mummy, but I am getting a bit tired/over feeling the baby movements in my belly. I just would like to sit down and not feel it hiccup or whatever every 3 damn seconds!! on top of all the other regular kicks etc. Then on the other hand I need to feel her moving so that I know everything is still hunky dory. Sigh….no winning here!
I know I will miss feeling her in my tummy once she is born, but I do want my body back!!! Ha, I probably didn’t help things with having 2 bowls of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for breakfast either ![]()
