It seems as though Summer may finally be on the mend. I took her into the doc’s this morning and explained everything she has been doing and we have been doing. He listened to her heartbeat and checked her ears and mouth and basically said what I knew already. She has a cold. He said to just keep doing what we are doing and she should be right as rain on the weekend. And if anything changes or gets worse, to bring her back down.
She slept on the way home (most babies do seem to sleep when on a car ride don’t they?!) and when I brought her back inside I lay her down in her basinette and I could see she was about to wake up again, so I quicky wheeled her around in it and it seemed to settle her back down and she has been sleeping since. I am very happy. It’s taken this long, but the tiredness has hit me finally. But if she is getting well again, then everything should go back to normal I am hoping. Thanks to drugs and my husband doing the night feeds, I have finally had a decent nights rest. 
Glad Summer is on the mend. My lot are too as they have had a very nasty cold the past week, and now I think I’m coming down with it. Charleigh is still trying to ’shake’ it.
Anyway, I am glad you have survived baby’s first cold, it’s not nice for anyone and I am so glad she’s okay.
